I went out for a friend’s birthday this weekend, not really expecting much but I dressed cute and did my hair anyway. You never know.
There was one guy there who I kind of ignored at first cuz I thought he had shown up with this girl who was being sort of rude to me. But at karaoke we started talking cuz we were both really into it, and he turned out to be pretty smart and funny. Not my usual type physically, but pretty cute still, and making me actually laugh gets you major points with me. Also he was only a little bit taller than me, which I actually really like. I like feeling like I’m on the same level with someone.
So I started being a little flirty, and I could tell he was picking up on it. At one point he grabbed my wrist to ask me to put a song in the queue for him and that was when I was like, oh it’s on. It was subtle and to anyone watching would have come off as just friendly, but I knew.
