“Sweetheart, does it hurt a lot?” Debby asks her son, Alexander, who fractured both of his arms at the football game. “It’s alright mom, I just don’t know how I’ll do anything for the next few weeks without my arms” Alexander groaned. Both of his arms were in casts. Debby helped her son out of the car, and exhaustingly took him to his room. “I’m sorry you’ve gotta do all this mom” Alexander said, seeing how his mom has to deal with extra work on top of the load of work she already has.
“It’s okay sweetheart. I’m your mom, I love you” Debby said, placing a kiss on her sons forehead. “Now, you need to shower, and the doctor said you can’t get the casts wet”. Debby said. “How will I take a shower mom, I can’t use both of my arms” Alexander groaned. “Hmm, sweetheart, I think the only way is if I shower you myself Alex” Debby said peering her eyes towards the ground. She was unsure if this was the right thing to do. After all, her son was 20 year old, practically a grown man. But if she didn’t bathe him, there was no other solution.
