It just happened. My tutoring shift ended at 6 p.m., I’m at the parking lot, still processing and I think writing about it will help.
I’m a 24yo Brazilian physics major student, writing my undergrad thesis —where you choose a subject and discuss it for a hundred pages to prove you know something so you can graduate— and for the last two semesters, I’ve been tutoring on Calculus for freshmen.
As the semester just stared around here, no one really is interested in coming to tutoring classes. The attendence is around 2 or 3 per day, so it’d be kinda boring if it wasn’t for her. I’m calling her Julia, not her real name. Julia is there every single day making questions, writing on the black board in that short skirt, the sweet voice that makes me forget basic math… I knew this was her game and I played, and I won? I don’t really know.
For the last week, she was totally dropping hints but I couldn’t make a move since it’d be inappropriate, and it could get me “fired” from my position. We started texting on Monday, she added me to her close friends on IG where she posted pictures at the gym, bikinis, getting wasted at college parties. So I started to interact with her through there.
