The night before Halloween.
There is so much candy in this bowl it might overflow.. so I guess I’ll have a few. Skittles, I like those.
Not that I get a lot of kids to the house, barely any actually. Seems like every year it’s less and less.
Cold tonight, too. Lucky I brought some wood in for the fireplace earlier! The fire’s started now but I have a feeling I’ll need more..
The house is cozy, low. Only 2 bedrooms and one level. Darker wood accents cover the inside, with green plants strewn about, hanging and sitting. Just 2 shaded lamps and the fireplace for light. Lots of windows, but it’s dark now.. you can see the moonlight pierce into the living room area, illuminating the plush rug and coffee table. 2 oak bookcases sit flush on the wall on either side of the fireplace. The mix of silver rays from the moon, bouncing and dancing with the light from the fire mingle in the middle to form something sensational.
