I’m a writer of an advice column you may have heard of. Lately I’ve been in a slump – I’m just not feeling inspired and it has become a chore to craft innovative responses in the column. Basically, I just don’t like writing it anymore.
I want to keep writing, though, and I’ve been considering branching off more directly into the sex and relationship realm. Writing about sex in particular feels intriguing to me. My wife reads erotica regularly and I suppose it intrigues me to explore that.
I have a mental block about writing about sex and exploring erotica, though! Like, it feels like a cheap or easy avenue. I need a pep talk, or maybe just to hear from others with similar interests or experiences.
