Let’s cut to the part where I (28 F) finally decided to meet this man (26 M) I found on the internet. He picked me up at my workplace and we went to a hotel not far from there so he could drop me back easily. We have had a few chats and video calls before this meeting, so he didn’t feel like a complete stranger.
We checked into the hotel and proceeded to our room. We were both tense, so it was a pretty quiet walk to the room except for the click-clack of my heels down the corridor. When we finally got into the room, he opened his arms so I could hug him. I am 4ft8in in height and he is 5ft9in, I looked tiny in front of him which we thought was adorable. We sat on the edge of the bed to talk for a while. I was so nervous and was looking around the room to avoid eye contact when he suddenly leaned in to kiss me. I was taken by surprise which led me to instinctively pull away.
