I was scrolling through Facebook one day where I saw an old ex of mine from when I was a teenager. I was now in my 20s and in college, and she was also 20 and in college too, but had recently become engaged to her long-term boyfriend of several years.
I didn’t see any problem with adding her, so dropped her a friends request and didn’t think much of it. A couple of days later I got a message from her saying hey, asking how I was doing etc etc. We chatted for a few days before she asked to meet for a coffee. Again, I didn’t think much of it and agreed to meet her in town the next day.
