I’ve been bitten by the writing bug and thought I’d share a story of mine.
I have a bit of a sordid past so I think I’ll start off slow with just a run of the mill hook-up from a bar a block from my apartment.
It was a Friday night and I had nothing to do but get drunk. I was in my mid 20’s and pretty new to the town I was living in so I was solo on this trip. I liked this bar, it was a dive and I love a good dive bar and it was walking distance to my place so there was no cabs or DUI’s on the horizon. When I arrived the place was pretty full already but I was able to find a seat at the bar where I ordered a beer and bought myself and the bartender a shot. After our shot I looked around the bar to see what was what when I caught the eyes of a lovely young redhead.
