You caught my eye when we were coming through TSA but due to my PreCheck, I passed right through and didn’t think much of it. As I pass through the terminal, I see you coming out of one of the stores, thinking to myself ‘if I see her again, I will have to at least try.’
I pace back and forth in the terminal on business calls, informing my appointments that I was be late as my flight is delayed.
When I finally decide to settle in at the gate, I see that there are a few seats near the back. As I make my way, I am amazed to see that you are sitting right across from me. This might just be destiny.
After numerous hours of delays, the flight is canceled. Everyone is panicking and I decide to rent a vehicle before everyone else does. I am elated when the customer service agent let’s me know that I got the last car.
You notice me trying to catch your attention. Removing your earbuds. You look up at me. ‘Ma’am, I have just rented a car and wanted to see if you would accompany my to Los Angeles.
