My soon to be ex-girlfriend and I had a solid relationship for like 9 months. Conversations were good, lots of quality time, lots of great sex but alas it was not enough to stop her from sexting every night with some dude that she works with. Even going as far as planning hypothetical meet-ups. She doesn’t know that I know. Honestly it’s whatever right now, I’ve already decided to focus more on myself and my writing for a bit after the break-up. Now with that bummer context out of the way let’s get to why we are all here.
So, my girlfriend(let’s call her Olivia) informs me that her extended family is having a dinner/get-together as they are apt to do once every other month or so. At this point I already know about her coworker shenanigans but I’m not one to cause a big fuss, also a couple of her relatives make amazing food. Free food and drinks and some lively conversation. I’m all for it. So I decide to keep up appearances a little longer and make a note in my schedule for the dinner.
