I’m Emily, I’m 27, and I never in my wildest dreams would have thought I’d be posting here. I’ve never been the kind of girl to do anything too wild, mostly because I’ve been in a relationship during most of my adult life. But my most recent ex-boyfriend and I separated after he got a great job offer, but it took him overseas (I’m still very happy for him and we ended on good terms). But with respect to my sex life, it was never anything too out there.
Well cue this past weekend! I was hanging with some friends on Saturday in their backyard, and somehow my dating life came up (I guess that happens when we all have margaritas in the afternoon). I told them I haven’t dated in four months and of course my girl friend clamored with all their suggestions of which dating app to use. They decided to make me a tinder profile. I was actually really reluctant to make one and wanted to say, “tinder is only for hookups and horny guys!” But seeing as one of my friends meet her boyfriend on tinder,I was in a bit of a bind. So proceed to them taking a few pics of me, making me take a selfie, and me strongly vetoing some innuendos to be on my profile. Before I knew it, we were all swiping on guys together, which I admit was pretty fun. The excitement faded after a bit (because no guys I matched feel like responding?) and we all went out dancing for the evening.
