“Unfortunately for you guys, your test scores are less than stellar. Maybe if you spent less time screwing around and more time paying attention, then you’d get better grades,” Haku spoke to the class, each pupil staring at the red mark on their tests. They’re pathetic, he thought. Not a single kid is going to grow up to be anything besides a manager of a donut shop. The class murmured to each other, only to be cut off by the loud ringing of the bell.
“Remember, I don’t offer any extra credit. The only way to raise your shitty grades is to work for it.” He said to the class as they packed their bags and left the room for lunch. He went back to his desk, and sat, taking out his bag of fast-food he had ordered on the way there. He pulled a burger out of it, and as he looked up saw there was a girl in front of his desk.
“What the hell do you want? Shouldn’t you be smoking pot on the field or whatever it is girls your age do?” He asked her. He started to recognize her. Kirika Shiden. She mainly sat in the back of the class and minded her own shit. Haku liked her a bit more than her classmates for that, but not enough to care about her.
