Sometimes you just don’t know what you don’t know. When I first joined Reddit all those years ago, I had no idea why I was doing it or how I would use it. I knew I had a story to tell (about running into “Nick” while I was naked) that I desperately needed to get off my chest and out into the universe; I knew it was a surreal experience for everyone involved, and that it was the stuff of fantasies. I knew I had to share it with those who might appreciate the fantasy brought to life.
I enjoyed parts of the discussion, particularly behind the scenes. I had some great conversations with both men and women in my DMs, as people tried to imagine themselves in the scene, either as myself or as Nick. Some of the conversations got steamy, and some even got a little intimate. But they always fizzled out eventually.
Years went by, with light conversations coming and going, but the substance gradually diminishing. So I posted a story about a friend of my ex, just to change the subject away from Nick. The subject matter changed, but the breezy nature of the conversations didn’t.
