I had a work farewell party on Friday night. After dinner everybody headed upstairs to the club area and I called my boyfriend to come join us. I just have more fun when he is there, and I love showing him off because he is so handsome and a bit of a celeb as he acts in some local productions.
After a while, most work people headed home so there were only four of us left and we went to a different club. It was just me and my bf and Don, he is fully gay and was bouncing around all night ‘kissing boys’ as he put it, he somehow knew everyone there, and Louise. Louise was a sweet and pretty but very quiet girl. She hadn’t worked with us for long, I always get the feeling she is a bit junior and has to learn some confidence to speak up in meetings. We don’t work together on the same projects so I don’t know her much beyond that. In the beginning of the night she complimented the dress I was wearing a lot.
