I figure I might as well see if anyone else ever had an experience like this. Back in my junior year of high school I used to ride the bus with my best friend after swim practice. It was never sexual at all. Then one day her friend, who was also on the team but I didn’t know all that well, sat with us. At some point the conversation got to how it must be uncomfortable to wear a Speedo as a guy – which it isn’t btw! – and they both said how they can tell who’s packing and who’s not. I said well some guys are growers and others are showers and you can’t tell much from a bulge when we’re soft.
Maybe the next week it came back around to that again and the friend (who’s now becoming a friend of mine too) asks if I’m a grower or a shower. And I said oh I think I’m a grower for sure. They both smirked and it was all in good fun, the kind of way you’re feeling people out when you’re that age and testing boundaries.
