A few years back, I was newly single and was very into going to the gym often. I loved working out, especially at night, when there was rarely anyone else in the 24 hour gym.
I would occasionally run into a friend of mine (let’s call him Jacob), that I had actually met through my ex that I had just broken up with. Jacob’s an attractive man and was a bit older than me. I had only ever really seen him as a friend, since I had met him while still dating my ex, but had always thought he was a handsome guy.
When I would run into him at the gym, we would always say hi to each other, sometimes hug, and sometimes also joke around with each other while one of us was finishing sets or stretching. Since my breakup, I started to feel a bit of a sexual undertone growing during our conversations. He would mention how he liked the way my face would flush red while doing certain workouts, and how I look good sweaty. One night he also mentioned how my leggings were a bit see through when I was doing squats, but it didn’t matter since “we are the only ones in the gym right now”.
