I’m going to share a story from when I was a young military woman, but first a little about my history to give you a little more insight about who I was and what I was like at the time.
I’m the daughter of immigrants. My parents owned several businesses and a large home in Quibdo, Columbia. Wanting a better environment for their children, they decided to sell everything and move to the US. After searching for almost two years, my parents found a feed/hardware store for sale they could afford in a small town a few hours outside of Atlanta, GA.
In order for them to be able to get their visas they had to buy a business that employed 10 or 15 people, I can’t remember the exact number. Anyway they found it and they moved to the US. I was born six months later in a small GA town. I’m the middle kid of seven.
