This is my first post on this subreddit, but I thought I would share this story. This happened on Tuesday, so I thought I would write it down whilst it was fresh in my mind. :D
After months of anticipation and planning, the day was finally here. I was going to meet with F. F and I first met on a Reddit forum, back in September 2019. I had posted an advert on a subreddit that was dedicated to essentially hooking people up. Whilst I was trawling through the copious amounts of messages I had received in my inbox (RIP inbox), F’s message stood out to me, because he mentioned he was from a country I had barely heard of. We got on extremely well almost immediately. Looks wise, he was what I would describe as “exotically alternative” (if such a phrase even exists. We arranged to meet several weeks into our correspondence. Since I love to travel solo, I decided to book a brief visit to a city which was close to where he lived.
