One of my best friends and I were on a short four day vacation to a major city not long ago. We are both generally considered to be very attractive and are both in happy long term relationships. But just for fun we downloaded Tinder after a few glasses of wine on the first evening. Of course, we didn’t plan on going on a date, we just wanted to swipe guys and maybe meet up with someone to show us some good bars. Both of us wrote that in our bios.
We sat in our airbnb, drank more wine and of swiped on Tinder and had lots of matches pretty fast. We got many messages but ignored most and only texted back the more interesting ones. We obviously talked about the matches and convos and showed us some of the guys we matched (and also some of the not so great profiles we came across while swiping; we had so much fun).
