[FM] “Studying” with the Cute Girl from my Politics Class Part 2

This is a follow-up to [this story here, but can be read as a standalone story.](https://old.reddit.com/r/gonewildstories/comments/gy1mp1/fm_studying_with_the_cute_girl_from_my_politics/)

Again, I don’t claim to be a great writer so if you have feedback please feel free to PM me.

**Build up**

Seeing as we had plans to “study” again the next day, I had an incredibly difficult time falling asleep that night in anticipation of tomorrow. I spent all night fretting over all sorts of things. Was it a spur of the moment decision? Will Sabrina lose interest after today? All I could do was try to relax and let things happen organically.

The next morning, I woke up to a text from Sabrina saying “Wanna study at my place today?” Okay, yesterday probably wasn’t a one-time thing (if it was, I wouldn’t be writing this). I pack my backpack with study materials. Textbook, notes, pens and pencils. And condoms. Just in case.

“Your place sounds great, looking forward to it…” I text back.

“I’m sure you are ;)” Is what I get back. Now I’m starting to grow more and more sure that *something* is going to happen. I set up an Uber to drive me over to Sabrina’s house. Theoretically I could walk, but I’m a little too lazy for that.

This is my first time ever putting something like this into writing so PLEASE feel free to message me with feedback on my writing.

**Backstory**

My freshman year I worked incredibly hard to keep good grades as I have lofty ambitions of making it into a competitive graduate program. My first semester I was able to make it onto the Dean’s List, and the following semester I successfully kept a 4.0 and made it onto the President’s List. Now it may seem like I’m bragging (okay, maybe I am a little), but there’s a point to my bragging. In class group chats I would frequently help people with problems or explain correct answers to people. This gave me a reputation of someone who knows what they’re doing (even if I feel clueless 9/10 times).

One day after class, the Thursday before a Monday midterm, I received a message from a girl in one of the class group chats. “Yo, can we study together for the next test?”

I usually prefer to study alone or in small groups for the most part since I feel large study groups often get sidetracked, think Community, so I message back “Possibly, gonna be a large group?”
