It all started Friday last week. I got a e-mail from Kris that she wanted to talk about something private when she got home. I figured since it was a long weekend and her birthday the next day she just wanted to tell me that she was going to hook up with her boy toy Kent. Kinda weird that she wanted to talk instead of just telling me that’s what she had planned…
I met her out in the garage so the kids couldn’t butt in, and she said “I’m going to be meeting up with him tomorrow, but I wanted to know if you’d like to come along and take video for us and then join in…” It took no time at all for me to say “YES!” of course! So, for her birthday present, I booked a room at a really nice hotel downtown and she arranged for him to meet us there.
