I’m currently in my last year of college and, like most people in my situation, I am searching for a job. Recently, a company in a different state flew me in for an interview. I arrived at the hotel in the early evening, the night before the interview which is when this takes place.
I arrived at the hotel wearing comfortable travel attire; yoga pants and a hoodie. Wanting to save time for the next morning, I decided to shower shortly after checking into the hotel. My whole life, I’ve never had my own bathroom. I’ve always had to share one with siblings or roommates. In fact, I’ve hardly had much privacy at all. I occasionally enjoy a quiet moment to myself in my bed (and very rarely, the bed of someone else), but my desire to never make anyone uncomfortable has held me back a bit.
