A bit of background for more atmospheric readers: my boyfriend and I have been happily together for almost a decade now. We began dating as teens, but through the years have changed and grown together. I’d argue that we love and trust each other more than ever before. He’s the man of my dreams. For my birthday, my folks offered to send Gabe and I on a wonderful and romantic trip to a Caribbean island, all expenses paid. We were both absolutely thrilled. We are both in school, and have been so stressed with our upcoming graduations/the jobhunt that we had not done a great job of prioritizing our needs for intimacy and sex. Simply put: we were both instantly riled up at the idea of a week in paradise, in very little clothing, with rum at every conceivable opportunity.
