At the time, I was working in a finance company that was dominantly male oriented and had a lot of testosterone floating around the office. It’s a competitive environment, and every man wants to be the alpha of the team. There was certainly a high level of professionalism, but it had this vibe of always watch your back, since everyone is trying to up you.
I am by no means a finance person, and my job was an administrative assistant to a few a team leads. It was a lot of work, semi-classy flirting, and running from one place to another. I certainly enjoy the feeling of being needed (I def do a lot of work), and I also like the attention from these men. I always took the time to dress sexy and professionally. Heals, sometimes stockings, hair and make up done etc.
I do have a boyfriend, and he is usually a little jealous knowing the attention I get and is pretty uptight about dressing sexy or showing of cleavage. It definitely gets frustrating at times, as I’d like to be more myself (even though I can be shy most of the time, I still enjoy the stares/comments).
