So there’s this girl I’ve been eyeing for a while. We both take a weightlifting class together at university, and for WEEKS I just secretly gawked at her adorable petite body, dying for an excuse to talk to her because I knew sooner or later she’d notice me staring from across the room and I’d be labeled a creeper.
Then one day I realized she was also in one of my science classes (200+ students so it’s easy to miss people). All of a sudden I had reason to strike up conversation. The next weightlifting class I awkwardly did so, but for the most part it went well. A couple days go by and we’re back in weightlifting class and I awkwardly try to make another conversation happen just as we’re all leaving. I ask her if she’d be interested in studying together for the next big exam, and she gives me her # :)
