Some context: The only one of my friends that went to the same college as I did was Athena. She was an old Best-Friend-With-Benefits for a while until we both ended up getting a relationship with other people. It didn’t really affect our friendship that much but going to different courses and spending time with new groups kinda did.
Our friendship didn’t really end though, we made an active effort to attend at least one class together each semester. At first we did spend a lot of time chatting but as the months went by, we didn’t do more than smile at each other and share notes. It wasn’t that bad since it was really nice seeing each other at least.
During our second year, we agreed to attend the same Physical Education class, which was fitness jogging. The coach was really incompetent, he kinda just checks attendance at the start of the class, tells us to jog around campus, and be back 5 minutes before class ended so he can check attendance again. Though Athena and I really loved jogging and made the most of the class, there were times when we were feeling swamped and just find places to hide so we can sit and chat instead.
