My fiancé had to catch a morning flight out of town to visit her father who had taken ill. She asked if I would drop her off at the airport and of course I obliged. We decided to take her old Volkswagen Golf because she had been complaining about a strange noise coming from the engine. She wanted me to listen for the problem and take care of it by the time she returned in two days. After dropping her off and kissing her goodbye I decided to drive the VW out to a rural area just 10 minutes away from our townhouse while trying to diagnose any problems. It was a beautiful yet hot day. The scenery was so beautiful I decided to stop and take photos of the farm lands and livestock to send to my fiancé phone. As I returned back to the car it would not start. I immediately laughed to myself thinking it was a big joke but it was real life.
