It was my best friend’s girlfriend’s 21st birthday. Her school was only a couple hours away from ours, and only a couple of hours from our hometown, so we hatched a plan.
Kyle (the best friend in question) and I would meet a bunch of her girlfriends from our hometown there, we’d have a party at her classmate’s apartment, and all the out of towners would crash at her place.
Simple!
In true 21st birthday fashion, it all went to shit. The Birthday girl got to drunk too fast, we never made it to the bar, she got sick, and then she passed out on her friend’s couch. My best friend made the wise decision to stay with her so she didn’t wake up alone the day after her birthday, and me and all her girlfriend’s from back home piled into the DDs car and went back to her place.
