[Aside from meeting girls](https://www.reddit.com/r/gonewildstories/comments/bdcevt/i_m_met_up_and_talk_with_people_f_from_gonewild/) from r/Gonewild, this is probably the most scandalous thing that’s happened to me on here thus far:

In college, I was single, a virgin, and much like all of you, extremely horny. Freshmen year, I unfortunately stayed up a bit too late on some nights, only to realize just how thin the dorm room walls were. Some of my girl friends would occasionally clue me into their relationships and how great their sex lives were. Hell, even random guys I hardly knew were flaunting their body counts thanks to their success on Tinder. So, as you can see, I’m in a state of sexual frustration.

Then again, I don’t really scream “one-night stand material” according to my girl friends. No, I’m apparently the “bring him home to her parents” kinda guy, which, for all intents and purposes, isn’t really what a girl is looking for in a casual relationship. Then again, I only have myself to blame just because of who I am as a person. Tragically, I can’t really enthusiastically show that I enjoy pleasing girls in a professional, collegiate environment. I [M] met up and talk with people [F] from Gonewild

So not super NSFW material here, but I figured some people might get a kick out of it:

Like most of us, I’ve been a lurker on r/Gonewild for the past few years. I’ve messaged my fair share of girls on the subreddit (which I’m sorry for if any of you are reading this), and a majority of my messages are sent in vain. But, ironically enough, a few of my messages wound up leading me to form long-distance friendships and pen pals.

I remember talking to a German redditor back in August and wound up visiting her a few months later. We didn’t do anything (which I’m honestly bummed out about), but she was super awesome and an amazing host. I hope to visit her again.

I’ve also became super close with another redditor who I talk to regularly, who’s my self proclaimed best friend (she’d kill me if I didn’t mention her in this post.)

In the end, I think I just wanted to remind people that the men and women who post on r/Gonewild are actual people with interesting lives and personalities. It seems rather trivial, but in the moment of lust and want, it’s easy for us to forget. Read more »
