A bit of context: In mid-July a distant relative got married, at a Sicilian farmhouse. As with any major event, family members from all over Italy came for the ceremony. My greatest luck is that all my cousins are so beautiful that they look like models and among these a cousin from the north stands out a lot (we will call her Giulietta). There has always been a certain tension between us but I waited, until this year she came of age, and then I made my move.
