Heya!
I had meant to write this earlier, but it’s been a busy week.
This is in some ways a continuation of my first post here in GWS which you can find on my profile. It involves me and the same ex-girlfriend (both 18) on the same series of trips I mentioned there. Our last adventure was in Seattle, but later in the summer my parents were taking us down to Los Angeles. My ex loved everything Disney, so part of our graduation trip extravaganza was going down there. But, they didn’t want to fly so that they would have an excuse to stop in wine country. Obviously, as me and my girlfriend weren’t 21 this was less exciting for us, but I digress.
While much fun was had on this trip, primarily because we again had our own room everywhere we stayed, there was one incident which will always standout. At the time, my parents had a rather large luxury sedan, brand new in the early 2000s when this story took place. Like all the big cars of that time, it had an extremely large backseat – especially compared to today’s models. As is probably common on many family road trips, my father was driving and my mother was in the front passenger seat, while my girlfriend and I were in the back.
