(bit long, jump to *** for the fun stuff)
I basically bought my house a few years back for the office. I loved it. As someone who works from home when I am not traveling to client meetings and seminars, having a quality space to get work done is imperative. My office was on the first floor, right by the front door of my corner lot home. It has two big windows from about a foot from the ceiling down about 6 inches off the floor. Great lighting, and….well, it can also provide quite the view.
I didn’t know then that my corner was the bus stop corner. Not a big deal, kid’s usually gather between 7:30 through 8:30 for their different buses. I am usually getting back from my neighborhood run, walking the dog, or having my first cup of coffee behind my desk at my computer. It’s never a distraction, but as most people tend to do, when someone walks by the window – I usually do glance over. So the whole first week of school in the new house in my new office, I find myself looking up as the kids come and go and just go right back to my work. Except, when she first came by.
