I live in a very rural part of the country, and as such when it came time to have Lasik done, I ended up having it done at a location a few hours from my house. The Lasik didn’t seem to go as well as all the advertisements made it seem though, so I had to take that couple hour trip back about a week after the Lasik procedure, so the story happens with the trip back. I was pretty stressed, not being able to see well out of that one eye, and really worried that I’d made the wrong decision to have the Lasik done in the first place.
My wife had to be the one driving, since my vision was pretty blurry, and that made us both pretty stressed out.
We get to the eye doctor around 4:30 on a Friday afternoon. After going through the appointment, and being reassured over and over again by the doctor that my vision would improve over time. (apparently, the flap edge had had just a little problem, but, now, a few years later, it’s healed, and my vision is fine.).
