I had meant to return much sooner after my first confession, but I’ve been half way round the world for work since then, so apologies to anyone awaiting my next instalment, especially my lovely new followers! ?

Our tale today takes us back three weeks, to a conference in San Diego. If you’ve never been, San Diego has a massive convention centre, and hosts events from all over the world. It’s right by the waterfront, is probably as big as most football stadiums and is conveniently surrounded by nice hotels that of course are frequented by conference attendees, including yours truly.
