Part I: Her
They truly did love each other but it just wasn’t right, at least in that moment in time. For a year and a half they tried to make it work but their personal issues always got in the way. They just couldn’t communicate together and that made it nearly impossible to continue. He needed help and so did she. They both entered a dark time in their lives and all they could think of was how they wanted it to work but there was too much in the way. Maybe time would heal their wounds and they could try again but there was no way to know until at least a few months had passed and even then, there was no guarantee that it would ever work again. He asked her to wait just a couple more months so they could try again, but she couldn’t. They decided to cut their communication for a while to let the wounds heal and work on themselves but the pain persisted for both of them.
