With COVID issues still with us we did a staycation in the UK along the east coast. We did a mixture of B&Bs, Hotels and holiday homes.
We worked our way up, starting from Clacton. As it is so near we checked out the local naturist beach. People from Essex will know where I mean. After quite a trek, the first bit of beach is a mix of sand and shingle. Generally more men than women but is safe and friendly. Couples tend to be further up, keeping their heavy petting away from the families. The breeze was a bit fresh so we set up in the dunes where it was warmer. We had no intentions of swimming anyway but the dunes do tend to attract the voyeurs and less salubrious behaviour. Other than one other couple sun bathing in the shelter of the dunes, it was quite empty. We only saw a couple of guys prowling about. I don’t mind them getting a free show but they are not the types we would play with.
We found a patch of soft sand amongst the grassy mounds. Set up our blanket, stripped off and lay naked bathing in the sun.
