I met a man for the second time, under the pretense that I would use his building’s sauna and then go back to his place for specific plans on which I won’t elaborate, as that’s just a fantasy now.
Initially I suggested we start at his place rather than the sauna itself. I didn’t find it out of the ordinary when he said his friends were wrapping up a game and heading out, so we couldn’t meet there but they’d be gone shortly. My understanding from his explicit statements was that he was single and unattached.
He swooped me immediately at my car upon arrival and, in retrospect, we power walked to his complex’s bathhouse which was impressive even to fairly jaded me, albeit small. I carried a large but inconspicuous tote bag filled with a change of clothes and implements, mainly for after, not wanting to have to stop off at the car on the way back. The common area was surprisingly empty on a weekday evening, which he said he expected.
