A few years ago, I was on a business trip in London. I am obsessed with fine lingerie (and shopping in general) so I went to the flagship store of a very expensive lingerie brand after work. The ladies who work at this store always wear the cutest and sexiest pink uniforms. I’ve thought about working there many times myself just because the uniforms are so cute (and the discount lol) but I have no retail experience, it probably sucks to deal with weird rich dudes all the time, and I’m sure my current job pays more, although it’s way less exciting.
Whenever I go to this store in any city, I’m usually not helped by anyone working if there are men there already browsing. I assume it’s because the older rich looking men are more likely to buy. At the time of this story I was 23, so I guess most of the young looking girls probably just go in to browse? Not sure, but this always annoyed me because I honestly spend a lot of money on lingerie. Anyway, I wanted to visit their flagship store since I was in town, plus the Brexit vote was just announced a couple months prior so the pound was weak at the time compared to the dollar, so I felt less bad spending so much… lol
