School was out, college was over. Exams completed.
Every teenager, at this point in their life, balances infinitely between childhood and adulthood. Old enough drive a car, old enough to fuck, old enough to make some serious choices about their future, but still young enough to doubt their choices, feelings and desires.
For Guendolen at least, the transition into adulthood had begun. The next 8 weeks were completely empty for her to fill how ever she chose. The possibilities endless. Her mind buzzed with the things she hoped she would experience; late nights, and late mornings still in bed, booze filled nights out with friends, long walks and meaningful conversations about the future.
That all sounded simply perfect, except she had the complication of the “boyfriend” now. He just took up so much of her time. Although, he wasn’t without certain benefits.
