I’d never done anything like it before and, truthfully, I was not sure I’d enjoy it but, my girlfriend insisted.
It was a murder mystery party.
We’d been invited by her family who was celebrating her little brother turning 21, so it was kind of a big deal for him. My girlfriend and I had been dating for a while so I knew her family pretty well, including her Aunt and Uncle’s family which consisted of three daughters; the youngest was 17, the next was 19 and then there was Megan, who had also turned 21 earlier that year. As you could guess, the one the story is about. They’d all been invited because the game called for something like 10 or 12 people.
The murder mystery was pirate-themed and, man, I felt goofy being all dressed up like I was. Everyone else was dressed up, too, though so once we got there the feeling started to go away. My girlfriend had drawn the part of a nun, she had donned an old black graduation robe and thrown a black scarf over her head. It was fitting for her character but didn’t show off any of her figure, of course. I had drawn an “ex-pirate” and learned that my character had a secret lover within the party.
