Long-time lurker, first-time poster.
About a month ago, I received a DM on Reddit. I don’t typically respond to random messages, but this one said “hey! just wanted to message and say you seem super sweet haha.” I assumed he’d seen my comments on posts in this sub. We’ll call him… James. He asked if I’d like to voice chat sometime, enticing me with an “Aussie accent, if that helps.” I was VERY hesitant. People on the internet can be very shady. We exchanged a/s/l (if you’re old enough to remember AIM). And… we chatted for an hour or more. Played 20 questions, talked about politics, etc. He was very charming, witty, absolutely hilarious… and then he asked if I’d given voice chatting a second thought. And I had. So we exchanged Snapchats, and this is where the story gets interesting, naturally.
The very next morning as I got ready for work, James messaged and asked if I’d be able to voice chat. So, on my commute, we chatted. To my surprise, the conversation immediately turned sexual. I was a bit taken aback, but I am a very sexual person, so I allowed it.
