About 2 years ago my bf and I were having financial problems and needed a place to stay as our situation at that time had gone south with our roommates. My bf found this guy through mutual acquaintances who was willing to rent us his basement unit at a cheap price but one we could still barely afford, but we moved in anyway.
Everything was fine for a couple months until my bf and i both got laid off due to covid stuff and couldn’t get unemployment due to being under the table. This obviously caused us a big issue with our living situation, and he was basically threatening to kick us out like immediately so my bf got another job but it paid like shit so didn’t help much. This whole time, he was being progressively more sexual and weird toward me, especially when my bf was working and we were alone. Eventually he asked to make a deal that was basically sex for no rent and my bf and i decided to do it since there wasn’t much other choice. We would normally do it whenever my bf left once or twice a day and this went on for about 18 months until we saved up enough to move out.
