“Curse these fucking heels.”
Amy muttered under her breath as her friend drug her across the parking lot towards the club.
Amy could smell the faint hints of liquor of cigarettes emerging from the dingy establishment.
“WE CANNOT MISS HAPPY HOUR! FREE DRINKS FOR THE LADIES!”
Her friend Nat screeched.
As the bouncer nodded them in after being flashed their I.Ds, the two ladies snaked their way past the bouncing and swaying crowd straight to the bar.
“Two Gin and Tonics please!”
Nat asked in her usual high-pitched girly voice.
As the bartender gently slid the two drinks down, Nat quickly threw her drink back, and waved the server down for another.
“I’m getting DRUNK tonight Amy. You down to drive? I know you’re not usually a drinker, so I’m pretty sure I can’t trust you to be the responsible one here.”
Nat giggled, as she was quickly downing her second drink.
“I uh…sure. Im not the best at driving stick shift though.”
Amy replied in a doubtful voice.
“Don’t worry Amy. Just try not to dump the clutch too hard.”
