First post here and I’m happy to be able to share.
I moved to Florida a little while ago for a new job (like half the country, it seems) and immediately hopped on the dating apps.
Quick details out of the way: I’m in my early 30s, pretty good looking/clean cut, former college athlete (read: in decent shape w/o having to work out), 5’10, 8 inches (unbiased estimate from a recent fling), work in consulting/education, and generally have my shit together. I have the added gift of coming across as “wholesome”, but in reality…I actually am pretty wholesome, to be honest. But I also have a very non-vanilla side.
All of that being said, I learned quickly that I attracted a very specific type in FL: single moms. I’m guessing it’s a combination of working in education and generally being a pretty approachable person, but whatever it is…I’d say 50% of my matches were in that category.
My first experience was one I’ll never forget.
