Hey all!
I’m back again with a story about the wife and I from the “before times” (pre-pandemic). About two weeks before to be exact, when we took a weekend away in Baltimore.
The hotel room we booked was super nice. A very fluffy king size bed in the middle of one wall, with a floor to ceiling bow window looking out over the harbor. A specially made couch fit right up against the window. The bathroom was huge, with a fancy stand up shower stall complete with built in bench and glass doors. We were both impressed.
We spent most of our afternoon at the National Aquarium. After being in the crowds for close to four hours, Wifey and I both wanted to get back to the hotel and shower before dinner. As cold as it was outside, it had been sweltering inside. The walk back to the hotel wasn’t exactly pleasant either. The cold wind whipping at the sweat on our faces really sucked.
Back at the room, Wifey stepped into the bathroom first. I stood in front of the couch at the window admiring the sunset when she called out to me.
