***Zoom Meeting***

Brie smoothed her skirt and blouse as she headed out the door to check in with Mr. Johnson. She would be forever grateful to him for mentoring her as she earned her master’s degree to become a teacher.
When she knocked on his door, he answered dressed in a long-sleeve button-up shirt, tie, and business casual pants. She wondered about his unusual attire for their usually relaxed meetings. *Good thing I was in the mood to wear a skirt,* she laughed nervously as she followed him in and began her usual set-up procedures.
She froze when he told her that his supervisor announced an unexpected zoom meeting would start in a few minutes, but she quickly snapped out of it and helped him check the camera angle on his laptop, and set up a chair to observe unobtrusively.
Once the surprise wore off, she was excited for the chance to see how her competent mentor navigated reporting to a supervisor, and she quietly got herself situated out of the way while he pulled up various notes on his laptop to be ready with quick answers.
