I was in my early 20’s at the time, and quite curious about many things when I met the two. Brad and Mike were into the club scene as much as I was, partying, drinking and the like, and both were openly gay. They were roommates, and I suspected lovers at one point, but I didn’t pry. Both were friendly, fun to hang out with, and I was often sharing a drink or two with them early in the night, before dancing and making out with local girls.
After a rough breakup I called Brad, and he suggested I meet him at his house for a beer. I had never been to thier shared house, but happily agreed for the good company. Brad met me at the door and let me know Mike was out for the night, before we headed to his room with beers in hand. We sat on the bed and just chatted about random stuff for an hour or so, nothing in paticular, downing a couple of drinks.
