So, this all happened three or fours years back in University. My program has labs open 24/7 to accommodate the workload of my particular program and while they were packed towards the end of semesters, they were often underused earlier on. This all took place in one of those underused nights.
It's about 2 AM, I'm getting a head start on a project that had been assigned that day when Kelsey walked in. I looked up, said hi and went back to my work. Kelsey and I had been friendly up until that point, and while we'd never really hung out outside of class, we'd crossed paths at parties on one or two occasions. I guess I'll take a minute to describe her before we get any farther. Kelsey's not particularly tall, maybe 5' 5" or so, but she's a good deal shorter than me at 6' 2".
