Okayyy so this happened 2 years ago when I was a freshman… so it all started at a university camp trip designed to help first year students get to know each other. I remember being really nervous cause I was one of the only international students that attended. I ended up sticking with a rowdy group of mates I met there but also got close to the camp’s chairperson, Kat. Kat and I really hit it off and I was definitely girl-crushing… until she told me she was in a relationship and introduced me to her boyfriend of 2 years, Jake. 😞
Jake was quite tall (I think around 180cm?!), definitely went to the gym (saw his abs in one of the water activities!) and had a very friendly vibe.
Jake and Kat were such a friendly couple and I remember having so much fun hanging out with them throughout the camp activities. It was, however, a bit odd when I was alone with Jake. Things got flirty but I never thought much of it. In my head, he was just being nice.. right? WRONG.
