I volunteer at my local library once a month facilitating an art class. The class is open to the public and very popular with seniors and kids. People bring whatever they are working on and the library provides paints or pencils or paper. We accommodate many people. Anyways last Thursday I was helping the class and a lot of my time was being used to help this old woman work on a pencil drawing of her and her husband from the 60’s. Meanwhile another student of mine (I’ll call her Debbie) was finger painting and I could see she needed some help. She wanted a new color but didn’t want to make a mess all over the paint bottles so I went to help her out. Debbie is about 30 years old with just the cutest puffy cheeks, amazing lips, big eyes and an amazing sense of humor.
She told me she wanted more red and orange so I started to set her up with the paints. While I was doing that she accidentally touched her shirt and smeared yellow paint all over her ‘my little pony’ shirt. She tried to wipe it off with a paper towel but it just smeared and got worse. Her helper had left the room so it was up to me to help her clean up.
